I was born in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1965. My family was in the jewelry manufacturing business and from an early age I was introduced to designing, prototyping, moldel making and casting. I was also fascinated by science fiction and animation. finally I found my way to put everything in one bag and started taking all the courses I could find related to my purpouse. I took courses in all art related areas and worked with master sculpture Jorge Seijas, airbrush illustration with Raul Maldonado among others. I experimented with silicon molds, plaster molds, latex masks, foam latex, alginate resin, fiber glass and along the way taught myself 3d cgi animation. After many years of searching I met Danielle Verse who was, at that point, opening a work shop for a reduce group of artists , I completed the course which emphasized in model making, using various techniques of construction, production design and blue print interpretation. Upon completing the course, Danielle offered me a job and I worked with her many years. We worked together on commercials, theme parks like the Disney animation festival (Argentina), Buenos Aires zoo, Mar del Plata aquarium and of course movies’, focusing on sculpture. During the following years I worked as a designer and art director in projects like the haunted house Castello dos Horrores in Recife, Sao Paulo Brazil, Buenos Aires and Aventura Total in San Jose, Costa Rica. I moved to Costa Rica in 1998 and worked in the advertising industry mostly as an art director and set designer for commercials, events and commissions. In 2002 , together with my wife Hannie Goldgewicht, I was selected to create 9 life size human sculptures for the Museo de Oro Precolombino in. These figures were made to display pre-Colombian gold artifacts. I also made replicas of coins and a variety of gold pieces for the museum. Last year my family and I moved to Los Angeles. Since my arrival in November I have been working with Steven Boe on a project narrated by Mark Hamill. It is a stop motion documentary called “Mythic Journeys” I also worked with Steven on the 3d max animation as well as creating the life like model for the filming.
