Stop Motion projects

The Bone Orchard

I recently finished a stop motion project (The Bone Orchard) directed and produced by Steven Boe and Witney Boe, for the documentary Mythic Journeys, some of the models that I have designed and made are:

The painted skies, bridge, tombstones and rocks, the cemetery gate, the columns and it´s gargoiles, the tree of life in two scales, the mausoleum and courtyard. I had the plesure of working together with Todd Smith in all these sets, and seing the talented animator, Michael Granberry, and others bring everything to life.
This project was a colaboration of many talents such us the voice overs of Mark Hamill, Tim Curry, Lance Henriksen, and the main puppet caracters created for Brian and Wendy Froud.

Together with my wife Hannie Goldgewicht, we embarked on this wonderfull experience, that took us al the way to the indean reservation of Boruca to studie there fisioligie and fotograph there tribe.
In three months we molded in clay, made plaster molds and made a single resin casts of each of the sculptures used to represent and explain there way of life, traditions, and there skills.
